William Darrell “Bubba” Wallace Jr. is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 23 Toyota Camry for 23XI Racing, as well as part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, driving the No. 11 Toyota Tundra for Spencer Davis Motorsports.

  16. Ha. Just by the look of you, I know your type. All us mixed folk can tell subtle differences in how we interact and adapt with everyone else. There’s you on one hand, Shaun King in the other, meanwhile I stand in the middle where our people are most afraid to be because it risks exile although the space was made by us for us cause no one ever sees us. Only what we do and with whom we are aquatinted.
    I commend you for breaking a racial barrier that only mixed fellow with nice hair and a kind smile could do. I know because I’ve been there. The, I wish more black people were like you, type. Even though we aren’t Black by definition. So I learned to not just eat out of the palms that saw me as a marketing tool. I also feel it is important to not allow certain influences to control your narrative. Seek sponsorship from biracial owned businesses. Because we don’t hold anything unless we meet the full criteria of white interest or black strength.
